Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
2. How Meetuate uses cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential operation - session management, security, and load balancing
- Authentication - remembering that you are logged
- Preferences - settings such as organization context stored in local storage
- Analytics - anonymous page views; country, region, city, and timezone are derived from IP server-side and not stored as raw IP
3. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary - required for the site and app to function. These cannot be disabled without affecting core features.
- Functional - remember choices you make (e.g. sidebar state, org selection).
- Analytics - aggregated statistics on how visitors use our marketing pages. We aim to minimize identifiable tracking on public pages.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by trusted partners, such as Zoho (authentication), our payment provider (checkout), or analytics providers embedded in our marketing site. Their use is governed by their respective policies.
5. Local storage
Meetuate also uses browser local storage (e.g. mf_org_id) to persist organization context for API requests. This is functionally similar to cookies and is cleared when you sign out or clear site data.
6. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings - block, delete, or receive alerts when cookies are set. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or proper use of the application.
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data. Contact: contactus@meetuate.com.
